Getting Involved

There are several ways to become involved with the Helping Hands project, whether through donations, volunteer efforts, or just spreading the word.

Monetary donations are tax deductible and can be mailed to PO Box 216, Celina, TN 38551. If you would like your donation to be earmarked for a specific purpose please include this in a note with your donation.

Food, Clothing, a household good donations will be accepted once we have moved into our building in December. If you have clothing or other items that are still in decent, serviceable condition you can drop them off at our retail location.

Volunteers are greatly needed for a wide variety of roles. As soon as we move into our building in December we will need more volunteers to help staff the building part-time initially. We will need help sorting clothing, running the store, and taking applications for assistance.

We also need volunteers to work with our outreach team that will be assisting the widows and elderly in the county with projects around their home. These projects will range from mowing yards, painting, minor building and repair projects, and more. If you would like to volunteer to help out with projects such as these your experience will be greatly appreciated. We hope to have young people comprising the main body of the volunteers, but we will also need people with experience to help lead them.

Promoters can work with Helping Hands by promoting our programs throughout the community. One example of this would be working with the Angel Food Ministries program by passing out flyers and menus, soliciting orders, or even helping with distribution. There are plenty more ways to get involved!

Angel Food Ministries provides groceries to low income families, (or anyone who wants to order), at reduced prices. Click here to view a menu and place your order.

Our Youth Outreach Team is available to assist those who need help with around-the-house projects such as mowing yards, stacking wood, painting, etc...
